Sea Urchins

We are privileged to have one of earth’s most incredible reef systems on our doorstep – but this reef is under threat and needs your help. No, I am not talking about the Great Barrier Reef – rather the Great Southern Reef. The Great Southern Reef spans over 8000 kms around the entire southern half of Australia – bordering onto 63 federal electorates from Kalbarri in the west to Coolangatta in the east.

The next time you are looking for unique seafood taste experience why not try some beautiful wild-caught abalone. Each one has been hand-harvested by an experienced diver from the depths of the cold pristine waters in one of the Mallacoota reef areas of the Tasman Sea.
Cooking abalone is not as difficult as you might think.
